I got this brush with the mist spray for my kitty Willow. The mist helps make her fur soft and shiny. The brush gets rid of loose hair, so there's less shedding around the house. She loves being brushed, and her coat looks healthy. It's easy to use, and I think she loves it!
This pet grooming brush puts out a LOT of steam! The power button is conveniently located at the top left side of the brush so it can be toggled on and off as necessary. If you use the steam constantly, it will make the fur wet! It doesn't leak when there's water in it and the lid is on securely. It does make a light hissing noise when the steam is on but it doesn't seem to bother my dog. She's always a little scared of these kinds of things at first, but I get her used to them gently. The first time I used it, I didn't use the steam, and when I tried the steam, she was curious but not afraid of it. It does a great job pulling a lot of loose fur off her, and it's a snap to push the mats of fur right off the brush.
I have husky mix dogs. This brush works better than the other five brushes I own. The mist is just that, a fine mist so dogs or furniture doesn't get wet, it helps to contain their fur. I also have a vacuum brush which I use when they throw their coat so between times they get misted and love it.
I have a pomsky that sheds once a year that last 365 days. Yes, that is the running joke but so true with the breed. I have tried regular combs and always have to work extra to remove the dog's hair caught between the bristles. This pet grooming brush is not electrified to offer steam but instead has a manual sprayer built in to dampen an area where you plan to comb through. My dog really likes a long comb session as it relaxes his excitability. The ends of the bristles have smooth beads to protect against accidental scratches. What I like the most is the push button to release all the fur hair. Since the spray wets the hair, it has less tendencies to float in the air and getting everywhere. This helped reduced my vacuuming so much. Easy to grab and maneuver with one hand. Excellent dog hair brush! 5 Stars!
No, this is not for steam cleaning your pet! It’s a good brush with a mist that slightly dampens the fur, so instead of flying away in tufts as you brush, it sticks together in the brush, and then you use the releasing mechanism to eject a felted mat of fur. I have four long hair chihuahuas, and when they shed I end up wrangling actual tumbleweeds of that super soft floaty undercoat all over my house every day. If you have a similar situation, you will love this brush! The photo shows one of my girls enjoying being brushed with this brush. She did not find it scary or offputting in the slightest! This is a game changer for dealing with superfluff.
We're currently fostering a senior shelter dog. He's a poodle mix (with a dachshund?). Until now, we didn't realize how much difference there is in grooming a poodle. The fur is much courser than our other dogs and this one was very matted. After struggling with our other combs and brushes, we ordered this set. It was perfect, just what we needed to get the job done. The brush and comb easily handled the curly, matted fur and in just a short time took care of the work which was previously taking us a very long time. Being a senior dog, he was very tranquil throughout the entire process. The release mechanism on the brush worked well. It made clearing the brush just a matter of a button push and removal of the fur. He's a much happier (and lighter) dog. Highly recommend this set.
This grooming brush has been really helpful for me and my dog because he sheds so much. I love that it has the mist spray because it makes brushing feel a little nicer and he actually seems to enjoy it. The bristles are soft and gentle on his skin, so I don’t have to worry about hurting him while getting all the loose hair out. I’ve noticed a big difference in how much hair is around the house since I started using it. His coat looks healthier and shinier and feels really soft. It’s easy to hold and use, even for longer grooming sessions. Brushing him used to feel like a chore, but now it’s actually kind of relaxing for both of us. I’m really glad I got this and it’s made grooming so much easier.
This grooming brush works really well for my cat. The mist helps reduce static and keeps loose fur from flying around, which makes brushing less messy. The bristles are gentle and do a good job removing loose hair without pulling. My cat seems more relaxed with the mist, and his coat looks smoother after use. A practical tool for regular grooming.
This steam brush works pretty good. Seems to be of better quality than some of the other ones I have seen. It has a nice full length hard plastic handle. The bristles feel firm, yet glide on my dogs coat easily. Has a good size water compartment and once the button is pressed the steam/vapor came out right away. It is fairly quiet. I like how it is extremely easy to clean the hair off with a slide of the lever. My dog really liked the feel of being brushed with this. I also used coconut conditioner in it and this brush helps with getting it on him evenly. The comb that comes with it I can't use, because it is too harsh on my dogs skin/coat due to him being very short haired. It would probably work better for medium and long haired coat cats and dogs. Overall though it is a pretty good tool to use on your pets.
Our cats a little bit scared at the beginning but once accepted, they enjoyed it, I like it because it’s a little bit heavier than my other ones and the mist really helped to reduce the flying hairs lol
Very gentle and effective grooming brush. The soft bristles remove loose hair without irritating my puppy’s skin, and the mist spray helps reduce shedding and keeps the coat smooth. The extra smoothing comb is a nice bonus.
